(FANMIX: KAY FARADAY) Daylight Robbery
Medium: Video Game
Fandom: Ace Attorney
Spoilers: Blink-and-you'll-miss-it spoilers for Ace Attorney Investigations.
Subject: Kay Faraday
Title: Daylight Robbery
Warnings/Rating: PG-13 for mild sexual language and drug references. Also, crack.
ZIP?: Yes, follow me! (54.14MB)
Summary: *assumes a straight face* So, um, this is mostly songs I think Kay herself would enjoy thieving/dancing to, with some choices being much more obvious than others :D (LIKE A RECORD, BABY.) Not including her theme felt like sacrilege - even though for fanmix purposes I know it's a massive cheat - but I really don't care, because the awesome makes up for it. That theme is just... ♥ Almost completely unordered, save for the obvious grouping of songs that make up that one dance party that totally happened towards the end. Because that's, like, practically canon, right?
NOTES: All music links will need changing from hxxp to http. Apologies for the inconvenience. I own nothing.

Back cover

Noriyuki Iwadare - Kay Faraday ~ The Great Truth Burglar

Silversun Pickups - There's No Secrets This Year
//I'll tell you a secret
Let's make this perfectly clear
There's no secrets this year//

Blair - Candy in the Kitchen
//Don't stop dancing
This is your chance, kid
You keep on dancing, 'til they get home
Your daddy's gone but
You turn the song up
You keep on singing though the words are wrong//

Robyn - Konichiwa Bitches
//I'm so very hot that when
I rob your mansion
You ain't call the cops
You call the firestation//

Imogen Heap - Daylight Robbery
//Don't mind me, just cruising by
By the girl with the balloon
Good, it looks like we're the only ones around
Caught on CCTV
Heading towards the city lights
Winking diamonds at me
Arms stretched out now
(Oh, it gets me every time)//

Passion Pit - Little Secrets
//Let this be our little secret
No one needs to know
We're feeling higher and higher//

Ladytron - Flicking Your Switch
//It's the time to head beyond the city lights
Now I don't recall there being warning signs
Nine two three, eight one six
Is the sound of them flicking your switch
Eight one five, nine three four
Does this mean you don't trust me anymore?//

Imogen Heap - Aha! (Instrumental)
//(Instrumental version. If Kay didn't already have such a fabulous theme,
this would totally work.)//

Cobra Starship - Send My Love to the Dancefloor, I'll See You In Hell (Hey Mister DJ)
//Get back, you know
That the city is burning
So the story goes
It makes you wonder
'Cause if we're trapped
Then we're never gonna find a way out
Get out
We're gonna dance now//

Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Right Round (Like a Record)
//All I know is that to me
You look like you're having fun
Open up your lovin' arms
Watch out, here I come
You spin me right round, baby
Right round like a record, baby//
