Well, I've heard the road to hell is particularly picturesque at this time of year. Yay, road trip :D

500 words feels like a lot when you write it (well it does for me). It's an hour or so's solid work, and then you actually sit down and look at the results, and there's virtually nothing there. I need to start forcing myself to write a bit every day, but there's just always so much else that needs to be done :/

I hadn't really thought about posting it in parts. Do you think it would work like that? I suppose it might give me the impetus to finish it more quickly too. Although, honestly, I'd be surprised if anyone's interested in reading.

I have a very brief scene that I could do with you looking over, which comes before the point you've read to, and which might be a good point to end a part on if I do post it in bits. It's another Lucy 'alone-time' moment, *coughblushcough*, so I could do with your comments on its taste and appropriateness.
