How can you make such an irretrievable heap of crack seem like it actually makes sense?

Almost completely by accident. I guess it helps to be able to process wacky shit semi-logically. Here's more or less how it went.

1. Suit!Franziska/Cowgirl!Adrian is already part of an AU. (Albeit one that is, at the moment, only a sketched out idea)

2. Assassin!Adrian is part of a separate AU.

3. Ergo, for the threesome to take place, give Assassin!Adrian a device that lets her travel between AUs. (Why not a Time Watch? - it is, after all, my greatest creation)

4. Next, give Assassin!Adrian a motive to seek out either Franziska or Adrian. (She's a little bit crazy, and upon learning the existence of other AUs, she is incensed to realize that all the work she did in her own AU is pointless in all the other AUs.)

5. Give Assassin!Adrian a reason to want to join in the sexings (Upon seeing that Franziska is not only not her enemy in this universe, but actually cares for her, Adrian questions whether she did the right thing and, since she can't get her Franziska's forgiveness, tries to make it up with this Franziska. This leading directly to, OK OTHER ADRIAN LET'S TAG TEAM THIS HOT ASS, is kinda silly, but considering how UNBELIEVABLY HOT THIS WOULD BE, I'll allow it.)

And that's how you have a semi-coherent reason for all this crack.

Well, Assassin!Adrian's whole backstory is already rather sad, isn't it? Although I suppose you could make it a different Assassin!Adrian, because there must be a practically infinite number of alternative universes.
